SLOH
SLOH stands for Société Luxembourgeoise d’Objets Habitables (Luxembourg Corporation for Inhabitable Objects). It is a research and production initiative focused on creating small-scale cabins placed in natural settings or private gardens.
We refer to these shelters as objects because they are conceived with the precision and clarity of everyday items: optimised for function within minimal space, while maintaining a high level of comfort. Like a well-designed object, each cottage can be produced, used, reused, moved, and eventually recycled with ease.
SLOH’s inhabitable objects are conceived not as barriers, but as slim protective layers between the occupant and the natural environment—structures that encourage presence, openness, and connection with the outdoors. They can be positioned individually or arranged in small clusters to foster gentle, mindful cohabitation.
Designed by forward-thinking creatives, SLOH objects will be produced in small batches in Luxembourg.
