Project 1660 is a new venture addressing the property dilemma faced by many today: renting versus owning a home.
Many people seek flexibility due to changing job requirements or evolving personal needs over their lifetime—flexibility that renting is uniquely positioned to offer. However, renting has a significant downside: it doesn't allow tenants to build equity and accumulate long-term wealth.
Owning a property and building equity, on the other hand, demands substantial upfront investment and carries considerable risks, including property taxes at the time of purchase, high entry costs, and limited market liquidity. Ownership also reduces personal mobility, making it harder to adapt to life's changes quickly.
Project 1660 is the result of over a decade of research and on-the-ground insight, and aims to create a new real estate user experience—shaping how people live with and invest in property.
